They want him out of office. And will the moronic readers of this rag figure it out? Nope.
Tomorrow the NYT will run a story about Gov. Patterson questioning his ability to be in office after their propagating lies of an affair and not bothering to investigate his possible improprieties regarding criminal acts by his Aide. Instead the NYT considers the questions surrounding the possible scandal reason enough for him to drop out of office. What the hell has Caroline Kennedy done for them that they hate the man this badly. They really wanted to gallop off to Camelot with their unity pony and now the reality that it's never going to happen can be no one else's fault but Patterson's of course.
