American Apparel vs. the neighborhood pt II

LOL!!! You may have read here previously American Apparel vs. The Neighborhood, a bunch of East Villagers, LES'ers sent letters with along with 75 signatures to AA that their latest huge billboard in the neighborhood was offensive and inappropriate for a residential neighborhood. AA told them too bad, it's klassy. Well someone decided enough was enough.

Enter 10/22/07. I get off the train, and to my delight I see this. Pretty shocking statement written on the sign, no wonder AA replaced the sign as fast as they could. (a new sign was up 10/24/07). I mean heck, the least AA coulda done was give the woman face or feet! This billboard is the epitome of dehumanization of women turned into sex objects. Not to mention our having to wake up every morning with a ginormous photo of crotch in our face. No thanks Dov Dorvey (or whatever). Either way, to the persons who defaced that sign... you rock. How in the hell did you do that?!
